What is the difference between Osteopathy, Physiotherapy, and Chiropractic?
As an Osteopath, I’m most likely going to be biased! I feel that Osteopaths are a great choice for the treatment of a range of issues including back pain, neck pain, sports injuries, tendonitis etc. We take time to consider psychosocial contributing factors to body pain, a position that is strongly backed by research on pain and suffering.
Osteopaths are highly trained in obtaining a diagnosis and always use hands-on techniques for pain relief. We will form a treatment plan specifically for you and work with you to get you back to optimum health. Traditionally chiropractic treatment is spinal manipulative based and Physiotherapy is traditionally is emphasized more around rehabilitation.
