How long will my Osteopathic appointment take?  
30min for single region cases
1 hour recommended for more complex and multiple regions

(A case history, a thorough examination, and careful consideration towards making a diagnosis followed by treatment.)

 
Can I claim Osteopathy on my health fund?
Yes, most if not all health funds cover Osteopathy.


What clothing do I wear Osteo to my appointment?
We prefer patients to wear comfortable loose fitting clothes. 


Is there parking nearby?
Yes, metered on Grosvenor St and Grafton St, then a short walk passed the Train/Bus terminal 
FREE 2 hour parking across the road at Westfield Shopping centre. Best entry on Grafton St, head to basement, for better access to Grosvenor St.   


Where’s the nearest Train and Bus stop?
Next door on Grosvenor Street


How many sessions will I need with the Osteopath?
General musculoskeletal injuries, resolve between 3 to 4 visits. 
Chronic and complicated cases may need more consideration up to 8 or more. 


Do I need a referral to see an Osteopath?
No, you do not require a referral to see an Osteopath. 

I was injured at work.  Do you accept Workers Comp Claims?
Yes, Osteopaths are registered by AHPRA and approved by SIRA to provide treatment under the NSW workers’ compensation system. 


Is Osteopathy covered by Medicare?
Yes, under the Chronic Disease Management plan, discuss this with your GP to see if you are eligible . 


Do I need an x-ray?
You do not require an X-RAY, CT scan, MRI, and or ultrasound unless the osteopath deems it necessary for the diagnosis of a musculoskeletal injury. ​​


I’m pregnant.  Can I still receive Osteopathic treatment?
Yes. It is safe to receive Osteopathic treatment whilst pregnant.
